PKE vs. Palm Kernel Meal (PKM)
PKE is produced through mechanical pressing, retaining higher residual oil (9–10%) valued for its energy density. PKM is produced via solvent extraction, yielding lower oil but higher protein concentration. Ciport supplies PKE exclusively.

Available Supply Forms
Raw Unscreened PKS (Cangkang Mentah Curah)
Shell fragments straight from kernel oil processing, still mixed with fiber & fine ash. Most economical, for domestic market.
Screened & Cleaned PKS (Export Standard)
Mechanically sieved & magnetically cleaned. Fiber-free, low ash (<3%), controlled moisture (<20%). The primary standard accepted by power plants in Japan & South Korea.
PKS Pellet (Pellet Cangkang Sawit)
Crushed shell compacted into cylindrical pellets (6-8mm diameter). High bulk density, saves vessel space, very low moisture (<10%).
Carbonized PKS (Arang Cangkang Sawit)
Produced through oxygen-free carbonization, becoming dense black charcoal. Feedstock for activated carbon or high-calorie industrial briquettes.
